Klaus Schmidt, ADEUS

After studying IT and business administration, he played a key role, from 1994 onwards, in developing the electronic share register and introducing collective custody for registered shares. Furthermore, in addition to his role as Managing Director of ADEUS, he headed up the Financial Projects and Organization department up until 2009, where he was responsible for numerous financial projects in the Allianz Group. Klaus Schmidt has long-standing experience in the preparation and implementation of capital measures and Annual General Meetings. As well as providing support to renowned ADEUS customers in all matters relating to registered shares, the management of share registers and Annual General Meetings, he is also responsible for preparing and conducting the Annual General Meeting of Allianz SE. He is also head of the Annual General Meeting working group of the DAX® companies and a member of the registered shares working group.
